Published author
Published by LAP LAMBERT Academic Publishing, the monograph draws on her research into the epidemiology and characteristics of Albanian infertile couples undergoing IVF: causes of infertility, stimulation protocols, factors associated with pregnancy and a comparison with the international literature.
In the book’s description, Dr. Gjata presents infertility not as a simple illness but as a complex of problems affecting the couple, their family, friends and society. Because Albania lacked scientific evaluations of infertility levels in the general population, the study sets out to contribute to the epidemiology of Albanian infertile couples who underwent in vitro fertilisation: the causes of their infertility, stimulation protocols, the factors related to pregnancy, pregnancy rates and a comparison with the literature.
“It’s a modest book prepared with reliability and love.”
Elinda Gjata, from the book description
